A lovely pub experience! We enjoyed a beautifully spacious room with a huge bed and a cozy fireplace to set the mood. Dinner was delightful, and the breakfast was equally satisfying with a range of options. The friendly staff added to the warm atmosphere. What a gem!

Had a great time with friends, enjoying delicious local food. Highly recommend the steak. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The pub atmosphere was welcoming, perfect for relaxation after exploring the nearby lakes and trails. The layout was cozy, making it easy to catch up and enjoy each other's company.

The super king-sized bed made my stay super comfy. The dinner was top-notch for the price! Only downside was the breakfast variety. could use some improvement. 😊

The room had a useful information folder with a detailed dinner menu, allowing us to plan ahead. The cleanliness was commendable, making the space more inviting.

The outdated decor and overall need for a refresh were evident, with visible wear in places like chipped paint. A shower that lacked power was disappointing, and there were extension cables scattered throughout the room. Breakfast also fell short, with limited cereal options and sliced bread that was less than appetizing. The outdoor seating areas left a lot to be desired, either overlooking the car park or an overgrown garden, which made for an unappealing experience.

The food served was exceptional, but the breakfast service was disorganized and left much to be desired.

Rooms need updating to avoid a tired appearance!!! Noise insulation requires improvement to enhance guest relaxation!!! Hot water availability could be more reliable to ensure comfort throughout the stay!!!

i recently stayed at the black bull for a wedding ceremony and it was amazing! the food was absolutely fantastic, especially the roast beef that just melted in my mouth. i also loved the cozy atmosphere with a beautiful log fire, making it the perfect setting for a memorable day.

The room was impressive, featuring a super king-sized bed that ensured a comforting night's sleep. Dinner had exceeded my expectations with exceptional quality, while breakfast offered a delightful start to the day. I appreciated the thoughtful decor throughout the space, which added a welcoming touch.

The welcoming atmosphere created by Alex and the staff made for a pleasant stay, despite the initial heating issues in the room. The highlight was certainly the exceptional quality of food, particularly the homemade bread served at breakfast, which stood out for its flavor. On the downside, the breakfast options could have been improved, as the scrambled eggs were somewhat dry and the sliced bread didn't quite match the advertised fresh cut option.

We were greeted by Alex upon arrival, and the cozy atmosphere with the log fire made the bar a perfect spot to unwind. Enjoying the BBQ facilities and relaxing in the lounge area made our stay even better. The only minor hiccup was the hot water taking a little while to heat up, but it didn't dampen our experience at all. 😊
